1. Overview
Linkme (the "Service") may use cookies and local storage (including localStorage) in your browser for reliable operation and a better experience. This document describes what we store, why, and your choices. For personal data handling, see our Privacy Policy.
2. Authentication and security (session)
When you sign in, identifiers linked to your server session may be set as HTTP cookies. These are required to keep you signed in securely. Blocking all cookies in the browser may prevent login from working.
3. Functional storage
- Theme and UI preferences — Remembers light/dark/system theme and similar display settings on your device.
- Demo mode board data — Boards and cards created while logged out may be stored in the browser. Cloud sync is available after you sign in.
- Other client settings — Small values such as onboarding completion and shortcut help panel state.
4. Analytics (optional)
When NEXT_PUBLIC_GA_MEASUREMENT_ID is set in production, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) may load and collect visit and event data. If that environment variable is not set, analytics scripts are not loaded.
5. Refusing or deleting storage
You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies or storage may limit login, theme persistence, demo data retention, and other features.
