Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms govern the conditions and procedures for using the board collaboration and public page services (the "Service") provided by Linkme (the "Company"), and set forth the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of members and the Company.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- Member: A person who agrees to these Terms and registers for the Service offered by the Company.
- Board: A virtual workspace where a member can freely place cards (links, notes, images, etc.).
- Public page: A web page through which a member publishes a board externally.
- Pro plan: A paid subscription plan offered by the Company.
Article 3 (Effect and Amendment)
- These Terms take effect when a member agrees and completes registration in the manner prescribed by the Company.
- The Company may amend these Terms within the scope permitted by applicable law. Changes will be announced at least 7 days before the effective date (30 days for changes unfavorable to members).
- Members who do not agree to amended Terms may stop using the Service and withdraw their account.
Article 4 (Registration and Account)
- Registration may be requested via email, social login, or other methods designated by the Company and is established upon the Company's acceptance.
- Members are responsible for safeguarding account credentials (email, password, etc.) and may not transfer or lend their account to others.
- The Company may refuse or cancel registration if a member:
- Uses another person's information or provides false information
- Acts in violation of these Terms or applicable law
Article 5 (Provision of the Service)
- The Company provides features such as board creation and editing, collaboration, public page publishing, and AI analysis.
- The Company may add, change, or discontinue features without prior notice, except that material changes to paid features will be communicated in advance.
- The Company may temporarily suspend the Service due to maintenance, natural disasters, communication failures, or other unavoidable circumstances.
Article 6 (Member Obligations)
- Members must not:
- Post content that infringes others' rights (copyright, portrait rights, reputation, etc.)
- Post content that is obscene, violent, discriminatory, hateful, or promotes illegal activity
- Interfere with normal operation (mass automated requests, security bypass, etc.)
- Use the Service to send unsolicited commercial messages for profit
- If a member violates this article, the Company may delete content, suspend use, or terminate the account.
Article 7 (Content and Copyright)
- Copyright in content posted by a member belongs to that member.
- Members grant the Company permission to use such content within the scope necessary to operate and provide the Service (storage, caching, preview generation, display on public pages, etc.).
- Copyright in UI, text, logos, and designs created by the Company belongs to the Company.
Article 8 (Paid Services and Payment)
- Pricing, payment methods, and refund terms for paid services (such as Pro) follow the information presented at checkout.
- Payments are processed through Toss Payments; the Company does not store payment card details directly.
- Refunds may be requested within 7 days of a Pro purchase; other refunds follow applicable laws including the Content Industry Promotion Act where relevant.
Article 9 (Termination)
- Members may request account deletion at any time from their account settings.
- The Company may terminate the agreement after notice if a member breaches these Terms, or immediately for serious breaches.
- Upon withdrawal, boards and public pages are made private immediately and permanently deleted after a 30-day grace period.
Article 10 (Limitation of Liability)
- The Company is not liable when the Service cannot be provided due to force majeure such as natural disasters or war.
- The Company is not responsible for the reliability or accuracy of content posted by members.
- Except for damages caused by the Company's intent or gross negligence, the Company's liability is limited to amounts paid by the member to the Company in the preceding 12 months.
Article 11 (Disputes and Governing Law)
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- Disputes related to the Service shall first be resolved by negotiation; if negotiation fails, the court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act shall have exclusive jurisdiction at first instance.
